Terms

We’re drafting our final terms with our Australian solicitor before our public launch. The summary below covers the essentials in plain English. The full version will live here before any paid customer transacts.

What we do

giftyour.name registers internet domain names on behalf of recipients, publishes a personalised greeting page on each domain, and posts a printed certificate as part of the higher-tier gifts.

What you’re paying for

One year’s registration of the chosen domain
Hosting of the personalised greeting page for that year
One printed certificate (Standard, Premium and Heirloom tiers)
One free email mailbox on the domain, for the recipient if they want it

Renewals

Year one is included. If the recipient wants to keep the domain beyond year one, we email them before anything renews and they choose. We never auto-charge.

Refunds

Full refund within 24 hours of payment as long as the greeting page is not yet live. After it is live, we offer an alternate domain or a credit. Refunds are processed same-day. See the refunds policy for the full version.

Acceptable use

We screen every greeting message before it goes live. We will not publish content that is hateful, discriminatory, threatens or harasses a person, infringes copyright or trademarks, or breaks Australian law. The recipient may take their page down at any time with one click.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
